What can I expect from redwell Audio?

RedWell appreciates that each and every book has it's own unique setting and theme - but not every voice is suited to the tell a particular tale - we wouldn't be asking Crocodile Dundee to read Gone With the Wind!

What genres of product will redwell Audio be releasing?

There is no limit to the range of titles we will be releasing over the coming months. We will be releasing audio book titles from every genre available with a view to cater for all audiences. From the classic dramas of Gone With the Wind and Pride and Prejudice to the dark tales of Edgar Allan Poe and H. P. Lovecraft, there will be something for everyone.

What is an 'unabridged' audio book?

An unabridged audio book is one that is literally read word for word from the orginal text without having been edited down (ususally for runnig time consideration). All RedWell Audio Books are unabridged editions - no corners have been cut so that you can be sure of enjoying the production in its entirety.

• Deluxe CD Collector's Editions - the ultimate collections of your favourite books. Presented in beautiful limited edition packaging - a must for every library.
• MP3 Collections - Greatly reduced in file size (but NOT abridged in any way), in this format the collections can be played on MP3 compatible CD players and computers. You can even download the files from the discs onto your computer and upload to your own portable MP3 device (such as an iPod)
• Digital Downloads - So you can't wait for your title to be mailed to you? Enjoy the convenience of being able to directly download the MP3 files to your computer to listen straight away. Digital Downloads will be launching soon.
• Pre-loaded MP3 Device Audio Books - If you don't own an MP3 player, we can provide one for you complete with an MP3 edition of your audio book of choice. The files are simply preloaded onto an MP3 player.

What equpiment do I need to have to enjoy my audio books?

The standard Compact Disc editions can be played in any CD player. The MP3 editions can be played on MP3 compatible CD players or downloaded onto portable MP3 players from your computer. Read more about MP3 here.
